It was deemed necessary to complete a formal investigation into the flood incident at Grosvenor Way, Barton Seagrave in August 2015. Internal flooding of one property has been experienced on more than one occasion in the last 5 years.

It was deemed necessary to complete a formal investigation into the flood incident at Windsor Close, Towcester on 2nd November 2014. Internal flooding of one property has been experienced on more than one occasion in the last 5 years.

It was deemed necessary to complete a formal investigation into a flood incident at Kings Cliffe on 10th August 2014. Internal flooding of one property has been experienced on more than one occasion in the last 5 years.


Flood Investigation – Oundle, Benefield Road, May 2014

It was deemed necessary to complete a formal investigation into flood incidents at Benefield Road, Oundle on 24th May 2014. Internal flooding of one property has been experienced on more than one occasion in the last 5 years.


Flood Investigation – Deenethorpe, February 2014

It was deemed necessary to complete a formal investigation into a flood incident at Deenethorpe on 14th February 2014. Internal flooding of one property has been experienced on more than one occasion in the last 5 years.


Flood Investigation – Corby, Gainsborough Road, February 2014

It was deemed necessary to complete a formal investigation into the flood incidents at Gainsborough Road, Corby on 7th February 2014 at the discretion of the LLFA, although the thresholds for a formal investigation were not met. This is due to the effect the flooding had on Gainsborough Road and Oakley Road which are considered to be critical arterial routes for the town of Corby, as well as the increased frequency of flooding.


Flood Investigation – Hellidon, January 2014

It was deemed necessary to complete a formal investigation into flood incidents at Hellidon on 2nd January 2014. Internal flooding of one property has been experienced on more than one occasion in the last 5 years.


Flood Investigation – Oundle, Warren Bridge, October 2013

It was deemed necessary to complete a formal investigation into the flood incidents at Oundle on 28th October 2013 at the discretion of the LLFA even though the thresholds for formal flood investigations were not met.


Flood Investigation – Northampton, Bedford Road, August 2013

It was deemed necessary to complete a formal investigation into the flood incident on Bedford Road, Northampton on 5th August 2013 due to the effect on the Bedford Road, which is considered to be a critical arterial route for the town of Northampton.


Flood Investigation – West Haddon, July 2013

It was deemed necessary to complete a formal investigation into the flood incidents at West Haddon on 27th July 2013.  Internal flooding of one property has occurred on more than one occasion in the last 5 years.


Flood Investigation – Hollowell, July 2013

It was deemed necessary to complete a formal investigation into the flood incidents at Hollowell on 27th July 2013.  Internal flooding of at least two properties has occurred on more than one occasion in the last 5 years.


Flood Investigation – Chacombe, March 2013

It was deemed necessary to complete a formal investigation into the flood incident on Silver Street North, Chacombe on 16th March 2013. At least one property flooded internally, and this has been experienced several times in the last five years.


Flood Investigation – Cogenhoe, December 2012

It was deemed necessary to complete a formal investigation into the flood incident on Whiston Road, Cogenhoe on 20th December 2012. The basements of two properties flooded. Similar events have occurred on three additional occasions in 2012.


Flood Investigation – Quinton, November 2012

It was deemed necessary to complete a formal investigation into the flood incident on School Lane, Quinton on 25th  November 2012. At least one property flooded internally, and this was reported to have occurred on at least one other occasion  in the last five years.


Flood Investigation – Grafton Underwood, November 2012

It was deemed necessary to complete a formal investigation into the flood incident at Grafton Underwood on 25th November 2012. Internal flooding of three properties was reported, and this had been experienced on more than one occasion in the last 5 years.
