It was deemed necessary to complete a formal investigation into the flood incidents at Oundle on 28th October 2013 at the discretion of the LLFA even though the thresholds for formal flood investigations were not met.


Flood Investigation – Northampton, Bedford Road, August 2013

It was deemed necessary to complete a formal investigation into the flood incident on Bedford Road, Northampton on 5th August 2013 due to the effect on the Bedford Road, which is considered to be a critical arterial route for the town of Northampton.


Flood Investigation – West Haddon, July 2013

It was deemed necessary to complete a formal investigation into the flood incidents at West Haddon on 27th July 2013.  Internal flooding of one property has occurred on more than one occasion in the last 5 years.


Flood Investigation – Hollowell, July 2013

It was deemed necessary to complete a formal investigation into the flood incidents at Hollowell on 27th July 2013.  Internal flooding of at least two properties has occurred on more than one occasion in the last 5 years.


Flood Investigation – Chacombe, March 2013

It was deemed necessary to complete a formal investigation into the flood incident on Silver Street North, Chacombe on 16th March 2013. At least one property flooded internally, and this has been experienced several times in the last five years.


Flood Investigation – Cogenhoe, December 2012

It was deemed necessary to complete a formal investigation into the flood incident on Whiston Road, Cogenhoe on 20th December 2012. The basements of two properties flooded. Similar events have occurred on three additional occasions in 2012.


Flood Investigation – Grafton Underwood, November 2012

It was deemed necessary to complete a formal investigation into the flood incident at Grafton Underwood on 25th November 2012. Internal flooding of three properties was reported, and this had been experienced on more than one occasion in the last 5 years.


Flood Investigation – Quinton, November 2012

It was deemed necessary to complete a formal investigation into the flood incident on School Lane, Quinton on 25th  November 2012. At least one property flooded internally, and this was reported to have occurred on at least one other occasion  in the last five years.


Flood Investigation – Towcester, Burcote Fields, November 2012

It was deemed necessary to complete a formal investigation into the flood incident at Burcote Fields, Towcester on 22nd November 2012. At least one property flooded internally, and this has been experienced before in the last five years.


Flood Investigation – Grimscote, November 2012

It was deemed necessary to complete a formal investigation into the flood incident on Manor Road, Grimscote on 21st November 2012. At least one property flooded internally, and this has been experienced several times in the last five years.


Flood Investigation – Woodford Halse, November 2012

It was deemed necessary to complete a formal investigation into the flood incidents Woodford Halse on 21st November 2012. Internal flooding of eight properties in close proximity and at least two other properties in the village flooded internally.


Flood Investigation – Helmdon, November 2012

It was deemed necessary to complete a formal investigation into the flood incident on Station Road, Helmdon on 21st November 2012. At least 3 properties flooded internally and the Highway was closed. Similar events have occurred with some frequency in Helmdon in the past.


Flood Investigation – Syresham, November 2012

It was deemed necessary to complete a formal investigation into the flood incidents in Syresham on 21st November 2012.  Internal flooding of at least one property occurred and this is understood to have been experienced on more than one occasion in the last 5 years.


Flood Investigation – Upper Harlestone, November 2012

It was deemed necessary to complete a formal investigation into the flood incident at properties on Port Road, Upper Harlestone on 21st November 2012. Internal flooding of at least one property was reported and this had been experienced previously with the last 5 years.


Flood Investigation – East Farndon, November 2012

It was deemed necessary to complete a formal investigation into the flood incident at Harts Lane, East Farndon on 21st November 2012. Internal flooding of two properties was reported, and this had been experienced on more than one occasion in the last 5 years.
